About Bunker Indust

Bunker Indust is an off-road recovery gear brand built around one idea: getting stuck should be an inconvenience, not an emergency. The brand focuses on traction boards, electric winches and recovery accessories for 4x4 drivers, UTV and ATV owners, and anyone who spends time on mud, sand, snow or rough trails. Its story is rooted in the outdoors. The team says it spends real time on the trail to understand what recovery gear needs to do, and it positions itself as driven by enthusiasm rather than commission. The traction board range is the centerpiece, split into five tiers (Essential, Deluxe, Prime, Mini-Pro and Pro) with different load ratings, materials and extras. Products ship from US warehouses, and the tagline sums up the approach: tough trails, tougher tools.

Why People Choose Bunker Indust

• A clear tiered lineup. Five board models make it easy to match a board to your vehicle and budget instead of guessing.
• Built for abuse. Boards use engineering-grade nylon construction and a flexible interlocked diamond design that the brand says bends up to 120° without fracturing.
• Jack-friendly designs. Several models include or support a jack base that works with common farm jacks, so the same gear can recover and lift.
• Light enough to carry. The Essential and Deluxe boards weigh about 4.36 kg per pair, which matters when you're digging out alone.
• Customer feedback is strong. The site's reviews repeatedly mention durability, packaging quality and responsive service.
• Low-risk buying. A 30-day return window and free standard shipping within the continental US take some pressure off the first order.

Product Categories

• Traction Boards: Essential, Deluxe, Prime, Mini-Pro and Pro models, in several colors, with options such as built-in jack bases, replaceable teeth, steel plates and carrying bags.
• Electric Winches: Including a 6000 lb electric winch with synthetic rope and hawse fairlead kit aimed at UTVs and ATVs.
• Recovery Gear: Straps, kits and accessories for vehicle recovery, including complete kits with individually bagged components.
• Seasonal Collections: Periodic sales and promotions, plus military and wholesale programs.

Brand Highlights

• Tiered load ratings: Published capacities range from 10 tons (Essential, Deluxe) to 15 tons (Mini-Pro), 20 tons (Pro) and 25 tons (Prime).
• Replaceable teeth: The Prime board lets you swap worn or damaged teeth rather than replacing the whole board.
• Wide 14-inch design: The extra width spreads weight and adds contact area on soft ground.
• Contoured ramps: Edges are shaped to ease tires onto the board, and the boards can double as shovels.
• Linkable boards: Mini-Pro and Pro boards can be joined with the jack base to extend the recovery length for larger 4x4s.
• Temperature and UV resistance: Boards are described as resistant to UV, aging, chemicals and impact, with the Pro rated for roughly -6°C to 60°C.
• Glove-friendly handles: Useful when your hands are wet, cold or covered in mud.
• Veteran-friendly extras: A military discount and a wholesale program sit alongside the retail range.

Customer Experience

Bunker Indust runs a straightforward Shopify storefront with easy navigation by product line and a comparison table to help you choose between board models. Support is handled through email and an on-site chat, with the brand promising prompt replies. Orders are processed within one to two business days and typically arrive in three to five business days after shipping. Reviewers highlight the quality of the carry bags, good communication and quick delivery. New subscribers can get a discount on a first order, and the site offers colour choices across most board models, which is a small but welcome touch for people who like to match their rig.

Trust & Transparency

The brand publishes its return, warranty, shipping and payment policies on dedicated pages rather than burying them. Returns are accepted within 30 days if the item is unused and in its original packaging, and a 20% restocking fee can apply when those conditions aren't met. Damaged, defective or incorrect items are replaced or refunded at no cost, though photo or video proof may be requested. Warranty coverage is a minimum of 12 months for manufacturing defects, with some products carrying a lifetime warranty. Normal wear, misuse and unauthorized repairs are excluded. Shipping is limited to the continental US, and several US territories, Alaska and Hawaii are not served.

Experience, Expertise and Authority

Experience: The brand describes itself as made up of people who spend time outdoors and test what they sell. Customer reviews describe boards used for real recoveries, from snowy trails and beach runs to a stuck heavy truck, which supports that hands-on positioning.

Expertise: The product range shows genuine attention to materials and design detail. It uses PA66 and PA6 nylon, reinforced teeth, flexible diamond-pattern construction and clearly published load ratings, with a comparison chart that explains what separates each tier.

Authoritativeness: Bunker Indust has built a recognizable presence among off-road enthusiasts through its active social channels, a wholesale program and an affiliate program. Reviewers compare the boards directly with better-known premium brands, which suggests it competes seriously in this niche.

Trustworthiness: Policies are clearly written, contact details are public, and the warranty terms include both coverage and exclusions. Load ratings and dimensions are stated openly, although buyers should still treat any rating as a guideline and follow safe recovery practice.
